Land of Enchantment Guides Cancellation and Gear Usage Policies

Reservations & Payments

Land of Enchantment Guides requires a credit card number to finalize and hold your reservation/booking. If clients choose to use their credit card to pay for the trip, Land of Enchantment Guides will not bill the card until the day of the trip. Or, if they prefer, clients can pay their guide/guides with either a check or cash. If a fishing trip is cancelled, there may be a cancellation fee incurred by the client (see the section below for specific details).

Cancellation Policies

Day Trips: If a full day or half-day fishing trip is cancelled less than 14 days (2 weeks) before the day of the fishing trip, Land of Enchantment Guides will bill the client's credit card for 50% of the total cost of the trip. If a full day or half-day fishing trip is cancelled less than 3 days/72 hours before the day of the fishing trip, Land of Enchantment Guides will bill the client's credit card for 100% of the total cost of the trip.

Corkins Lodge Packages: If an all-inclusive fishing package at Corkins Lodge is cancelled for a stay booked anytime from May 20th thru August 20th, Land of Enchantment Guides will bill the client's credit card for 100% of the total cost of the package - Corkins packages booked during this time period are NON-REFUNDABLE. For the rest of the year, if a Corkins package is cancelled less than 30 days (4 weeks) before the arrival night of the trip, Land of Enchantment Guides will bill the client's credit card for 100% of the total cost of the package.

Cow Creek Ranch Packages: If an all-inclusive fishing package at Cow Creek Ranch is cancelled less than 30 days (4 weeks) before the arrival night of the trip, Land of Enchantment Guides will bill the client's credit card for 100% of the total cost of the package.

Cancellations Due To Bad Weather: There will be no cancellation fee for trips cancelled due to bad weather. The decision to cancel a trip (if the weather conditions are too inclement to fish) is solely up to and at the discretion of the guide for the trip and/or Land of Enchantment Guides.

Use of Fishing Gear

Broken Rods: If a client breaks a fly rod belonging to Land of Enchantment Guides there will be a $65.00 rod repair charge added to their bill. The only exception to this policy is if a rod breaks while a client is fighting a fish. If this is the case, there will be no charge to the client.

Damaged Waders & Wading Shoes: If a client damages any waders or wading shoes belonging to Land of Enchantment Guides, due to their own negligence (i.e. ripping waders on a barbed wire fence, slipping and damaging either shoes or wading gear), they may be responsible for a repair or replacement fee for the damaged gear.
