Coed Kids Fly Fishing Camps
Our coed kids camps are the perfect way for young anglers to learn the sport of fly fishing. Open to kids and teens aged 9-15. Your children will meet other anglers with similar interests while learning to fly fish and enjoying New Mexico’s beautiful lakes and streams. We have designed a daily itinerary with plenty of time spent fishing as well as various micro workshops and clinics on different aspects of fly fishing including:
-Fly Casting
-Fly Tying
-Knots
-Entomology
-Reading the Water
-Catch and Release
-Leave No Trace Ethics
-Outdoor Safety Skills
As always, having FUN is of utmost importance. At the end of our Kids Fly Fishing Camp, young anglers will walk away with new abilities, friends and memorable experiences from the beautiful outdoor classrooms that are northern New Mexico’s trout waters.
Land of Enchantment Guides will provide all gear & tackle including waders, boots, rods and reels in addition to transportation and meals. All LOE Guides have experience working with young people in various outdoor settings and are CPR.
June 13th & 14th 2026.
Saturday June 13th 2026 - Bar X Bar Ranch. Saturday morning begins with a general overview of fly fishing techniques, equipment and casting instruction. After lunch the afternoon will be spent fishing on the productive trout lakes at the Bar X Bar Ranch.
Sunday June 14th 2026 - Cow Creek Ranch. Sunday brings more focus on advanced fishing techniques, proper fish identification and handling and entomology. Afternoon spent fishing the premier fisheries of the Cow Creek Ranch.
